Music master Leo Brower is considered among the most distinct musicians of the XX Century. I have the honor of being his friend and I owe him almost my entire career as a concert guitarist. Brower listened to a cassette with some tracks about my composition related to the Afro-Cuban topic and after this he sent me his contact, which I used immediately. He invited me to participate in the Guitar International Festival in Havana 1992. This Festival was the opening of my career as a concert guitarist and for that I am eternally grateful to the master Leo Brower. Thanks Leo for trusting in me and allowing me to meet and sometimes sharing the same stage with guitar international masters as: John McLaughlin, Paco de Lucia, John Williams, David Russell, D’Angelo, Vicente Amigo, Costa Cotsiolis, Tomatito, Raimundo Amador, Rafael Riqueni, Larry Coryell, Luis Salinas, Joan Bibiloni, Preston Shannon, Jorge Strunz and Farah, Bireli Lagrene, Mike Stern, among others. Hence, it is not a secret my everlasting gratitude, respect and admiration for this great person: Master Leo Brower.

This great musician, orchestra conductor, Trombone player, composer, music teacher and noble person he was who taught me the first information about music theory and musical notation. He was the link between the master Leo Brower and me trusting and thinking that my musical compositions should be listen to by guitar masters. As soon as he listened to my music Eliseo said: _ Please, give me a copy of your music in any recording support as a cassette and I am going to show this to few friends of mine because they need to listen to your compositions about afro-cuban music. In fact, he kept his promise and I started as a professional few months after the contact with the master Leo. This man is like my own father and I’ll always say Thanks Eliseo, God bless you.

This man is responsable why I love my guitar because he built my first concert guitar. Pablo is a renowned cuban luthier who live in Florida, USA and he continues building amazing guitars. He was born in Matanzas, Cuba and he is considered among the best cuban luthiers ever. What make unique these guitars?.. Well, it is the fact that these guitars are handmade and heart poured into them. He always use high quality materials and delicately chosen by him so, every instrument is “born” with its own characteristics, adaptable to every single guitarist. I met Pablo in Cuba by means of Leo Brower who introduced me this wonderful easy going, transparent and sensible person that had built my guitar, with which I have recorded and played all my concerts for the first ten years of my career. For me it was a total surprise reconnect with Pablo here in USA after about 14 years without knowing about him and other surprise was to know that him continues building these incredible Pablo Guitars.
